This demonstration contribution examines how interoperable identity, payment and public-service platforms could support inclusive African development. It is populated solely to test the ATST proceedings publishing workflow, archive search, scholarly metadata and automatically generated citations.

Africa’s digital transformation requires infrastructure that serves people across institutional and national boundaries. Digital identity, trusted payments, accessible connectivity and interoperable public services can reduce friction for citizens and enterprises.A continental approach must account for sovereignty, privacy, affordability and unequal infrastructure capacity. Systems should be designed around open standards, accountable governance and meaningful public participation.
This test paper proposes three practical priorities: strengthen national digital foundations; establish interoperable regional standards; and measure success through access, trust and public value. The record is demonstration content and should not be interpreted as a formally reviewed ATST position.
